The forums will be down for an upgrade on Tuesday 22 December. Hopefully, they will be back up the same day but I can't say exactly how long for. Thanks to those who tested the changes.

Apologies to the LotRO people who have maintenance tomorrow. You'll have to chill out on the Facebook group instead... :)

Maintenance and upgrade complete.

The highlights:

  • phpBB3 (base forum software) upgrade to latest version.
  • Portal software bugfixes applied
  • Gallery Portal blocks updated
  • mChat (Chat Box) updated
  • Removed unused MODs
  • Moved Vent status above TS status as it sees more use
  • Reorganised some menu items:
      View Unread items and Mark Forums Read now available on all pages
      View Your Topics and View Your Posts only on Board Index page
  • Changed Quick Reply mechanism

I thought you accidentally "mistold" your code and upgraded another person's website ;)

That being said, I no longer auto-log of and stay logged on the whole time, cheers!

I'll look into restoring those. I accidentally set the topic to auto-prune instead of enabling Quick Reply. Restoring a single Forum is not as easy as I had hoped. Leave it with me...
