Known Issues

General

• Character Rename - Attempting to rename a character in Character Select will not work

Classes

Hunter

• Arrow Storm tooltip is not updating properly when trait is equipped.

Monster Play

• Tol Ascarnen - NPC Hornblower will not spawn after completing pre-reqs.

Defiler

• Totems can sometimes leave players stuck in combat.

Raids and Instances

Raids
Tower of Orthanc

• Skill cooldowns are not resetting properly for the fight with Kalbak.
• Challenge Mode - Quest Log is not displaying Challenge rewards.

Instances

• Disbanding a group when a single member is still in the instance will shutdown the instance immediately.

The Pits of Isengard

• Boss - Whipmaster can fall into holes in the floor.

Dunland: Tribunal of Shadows

• Using "Hide in Plain Sight" or "Still as Death" after Andreg detonates the cauldron causes the instance to be incompletable.

Dunland: Feast of the Running Stag

• A general error is occasionally received when attempting to enter the instance
• New raid gear icons are not updating after the player complete the pre-reqs to equip them.

Trollshaws: The Lost Temple

• The deed "Clean Sweep" does not complete for fellowship members who are defeated when Ferndur is defeated

Items

• Steel-Bound Lootbox - Receiving a second similar unique item from the lootbox will give you the error message: 'You do not have enough room to do that.'

Legendary Items

• Champion Legacy - Blade Line Area Damage Power is not reducing the power cost of the skill: Swift Blade.
• Champion - If the Incoming Healing Rating legacy is maxed out before a LI Legacy point reset, the old value will remain displayed in the Legendary Item Panel; the correct value will be listed in the Character Panel.

Quests

• Epic Book - Volume 1, Book 1, Chapter 7 - Horn Call of Buckland - During the second wave of crebain, one will occasionally get stuck, preventing completion of the quest.

Deeds

• The "Long Road of the Hobbits" and "Exiles from the Lonely Mountain" deeds will not bestow if the player is on a mount.

Instance Finder

• Fellowship leader cannot join queue while any member is in private encounter

Winter has finally come to Middle-earth. The town of Winter-home has opened their gates to travelers once more, and our Game Masters are getting into the holiday spirit! Right now, as we speak, our GMs are out wrangling a whole herd of Cremello Steeds. On Sunday, December 25th, we'll be giving them away to random players in game!

GMs will be randomly choosing players all day long across all of our servers to win one of these special player-created mounts. If you're a lucky winner, you'll receive a Cremello Steed code in your mailbox along with instructions on how to redeem your new mount. If you’ve never seen the Cremello Steed before, our friends at LOTRO Wiki have a picture of both the horse and the pony!
