To join an event, you must first create a character (click create -> character and fill in your data).  You only have to do this one time. After that you can join any event by clicking on the little pencil next to the icon and choose which character you want to enter.

You can create all your characters here but please be aware that you will have to manually update their level. If you cannot sign up to an event, please check that your character meets both the maximum and minimum level requirements for that event.
